Saved at only 10 months old, from a High kill shelter in TN

This is the story of our sweet little Reba from TN

Reba is a Tri Red Border Collie, she has red hair and sparkling green eyes, (But of course she does...she's a red head). We lost our dog Chelsea a part Shepard-collie to cancer and she left behind her little brother "Buddy" an 8 year old Tri Red Border Collie. I knew he needed a sibling and started my search on Petfinder.com. One day I came across "Reba" a sweet little thing only 10 months old, who escaped death in TN and she was living right here in CT at a Bill's Border Collie Rescue. I showed my husband her picture, and usually he said; not yet, maybe later...but when he saw Reba, he said let's go look at her TODAY! So I called Bill, and away we went (Bringing Buddy with us of course) we went into his house and waited to meet her, and what a LOVE! Yes, it was love at first lick! We were hooked, he told us he found nothing at all wrong with her, that she has never had a home yet of her own since birth, and that she was a delight, and believe me we found that out for ourselves! We have had her for 1 year now, and she is the huggiest, dog we have ever had. Anyone who has ever adopted a "furry kid" knows what I am talking about. She knows that we saved her, and she lets us know everyday that she loves us for that. Adopted animals are more appreciative for being with you, and she just loves her big brother Buddy to pieces. If you adopt, you will never regret it, it is the most wonderful and happiest experience, and you also saved a life.
